Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions for the use of this site. Please read them carefully, as a condition of your use you agree that you will abide by all applicable University rules, regulations and Codes of Conduct Policy.

You agree to use this system only for lawful purposes and in a lawful way. This system is offered conditionally on acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. User Name and Password Security

  • You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User Name and Password
  • You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your User Name and Password
  • You agree to notify the University (your UNSW Project Manager)immediately of any unauthorised use of your User Name and Password or any other breach of security

2. Conduct

You are liable for all acts or omissions that occur under your Password. By way of example, and not as a limitation, YOU AGREE NOT TO:

  • Interfere with or disrupt networks or computers connected to the network
  • Obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to any information on the network
  • Amend, change or in any way alter any material downloaded from this site
  • Use this site or any other system on the network wrongfully or illegally

3. Penalties

If, in the University's reasonable opinion, you breach any of these terms or conditions, the University may:

  • Suspend your access 
  • Initiate criminal or civil prosecution against you

4. Modification to Terms, Conditions or Policies

The University reserves the right to change terms, conditions or policies regarding accesses to and use of this site at any time. Continued use of this site after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

5. Privacy Statement

The University of New South Wales (UNSW) acknowledges and respects the privacy of individuals. 

The information you provide in this application is collected and held by UNSW in order to perform Due Diligence and meet legislative requirements under the WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017. UNSW uses this information for its own purposes and will not it pass on to any external third party without your consent and without due cause, except as authorised by law. Should you feel there is at any time a breach of this statement you must notify the University (via your UNSW Project Manager) . You have the right to refuse this consent, but if the consent is not given your registration will be rejected and work will not be allowed to proceed until a resolution occurs. By signing this document you accept these conditions.

6. Declaration

I declare that the information declared on this form is complete and correct. I authorise the University to obtain and store my information. If any information supplied by me is considered to be untrue, incomplete or misleading in any respect, I understand the University may take such action as it believes necessary including the disclosure of the information to any person or body the University considers has a legitimate interest in receiving it and I consent to such disclosure. I understand the University reserves the right to vary or reverse any decision made on the basis of untrue, incomplete or misleading information. I understand the University reserves the right to make alterations to any matter offered in this publication without notice and that this agreement does not remove my right to take further action under the Australian consumer protection laws.
